Welcome
to my webpage, I am in the process of building a page that contains alot of useful
information on India,Bengalis and figures in Indian history who have directly influenced
my life. Please check out my site about Hinduism if you're interested in learning a
bit. It is rather long, but contains some great information from a variety of
sources. Swami Vivekananda's Chicago Address is something that struck a cord deep in
my soul (sorry if that sounds a bit corny). This is, in my view, one of the finest
pieces of writing I have ever come across. It speaks to universality, spirituality,
and the simple truth that all religions represent different paths to the same ultimate
reality. I have added a memorial page dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi and Mother Teresa
- the world was blessed to have experienced their greatness.
I truly hope you enjoy my website. I have tried to make it as interesting visually as it is in content. Please send me your comments either by email or by using the guestbook. In addition, I have included a Visitor's Profile page because I'd like to get a feel for who exactly visits this type of a website. Please know that I will not sell the information you provide - it is strictly for my own personal curiousity.

Here is a wonderful quote from the distinguished Mark Twain (1835-1910):
"So far as I am able to judge, nothing has been left undone, either by man or nature, to make India the most extraordinary country that the sun visits on his rounds. Nothing seems to have been forgotten, nothing overlooked."
"Land of religions , cradle of human race ,birthplace of human speech , grandmother of legend , great grandmother of tradition. The land that all men desire to see and having seen once even by a glimpse , would not give that glimpse for the shows of the rest of the globe combined."
