these links I have found that pay tribute to the greatest soul to have walked the Indian
soil. Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi changed India forever. Moreover, he made humanity
realize that its potential lay not in the strength of its force, but in the force of its
mind and heart. The world will be hard-pressed to ever be graced with the presence of such
a person. Let us not forget what Mahatma Gandhi lived for and ultimately died for.

Mahatma Gandhi: (1869-1948) Was among India's most fervent nationalists, fighting for Indian independence from British rule said:
"Hinduism has made marvelous discoveries in things of religion, of the spirit, of the soul. We have no eye for these great and fine discoveries. We are dazzled by the material progress that western science has made. Ancient India has survived because Hinduism was not developed along material but spiritual lines."
"Hinduism is a relentless pursuit of Truth. "Truth is God".
"India is
to me the dearest country in the world, because I have discovered goodness in it. It has
been subject to foreign rule, it is true. But the status of a slave is preferable to that
of a slave holder."
